The Institute for Policy, Advocacy, and Governance (IPAG) attended the Emerging Economies Cooperation and Development Forum and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) Forum held in Guangzhou, China from November 1-2, 2014. More than 150 renowned scholars, policymakers, private sector representatives, and other stakeholders from Asia, Europe, Africa, and Latin America with expertise on development and emerging economy took part in the Conference. The Institute of World Economics and Politics (IWEP), Chinese Academy of Social Science (CASS) and Guangdong University of Technology organized the conclave.

Mr Khasru delivered a keynote speech on ‘BRICS: An Analysis of Cooperation of Emerging Economies’. He also presided over the session on ‘Emerging Economies: Growth and Challenge’.

Md. Tahmid Zami, delivered a speech on ‘Sustained Growth of Emerging Economies: the Governance Challenges’. He also gave expert’s comment in the session ‘Emerging Economies: Growth and Challenge’ in the CASS Forum.
